So guess who came into town? Grandma and Grandpa Graves. We had been looking forward to them coming so much. It was SOOOO nice to have them here. The kids just loved them and of course they just loved the kids. We spent a lot of time just hanging out at home playing with the kids. But we did find some time for some other stuff.
Grandpa and Grandma stayed for 10 days. We hung out at the pool and one time grandpa got in the bath with Sawyer after his dip in the pool. It was too much fun.
I took this picture of Dahlia when grandpa was in the bath. Don't you think that she looks so much like Kat?
We went out to lunch a few times and Grandpa did some fishing at the lake next to the house. He caught lots of bluegill and came home with all of them on a stick like Huckleberry Finn. He also went out deep-sea fishing with Drew but the picture below is of them fishing the local lagoon.
We also went for a nice walk down Turkey Creek. Check us out!
We spent some time at the beach and went to a local state park.
We also went to St Augustine for the day. This was a day trip as it is a couple of hours from the house. We had a great time and the kids were so good. We went to the Castillo de San Marcos and walked the streets and had a little lunch.
Grandma and grandpa let Drew and I go to dinner. It was so nice to get out. We also had a wee birthday celebration for the kids first birthday. I see that we did not get any pictures of Dahlia with her cake that grandma so kindly made for her. She did not want any of her cake! Sawyer is the one with the sweet tooth. I guess we took it away before we managed to take a picture of her... bummer!
I had to include this picture because it is so cute. I caught Dahlia in the drawer and look at Sawyer's face!
We were so sorry to see grandma and grandma go. We CAN'T wait for them to come back. A wee bird told me that they are coming back in November! YAHOO!
