SLIDESHOW-The First Month at Home

Nana arrived after the first week at home and Drew went back to work. We breastfed, pumped, and fed them through tubes in their noses for another three weeks until they were 7 lb and 3 oz. It was a great day when the tubes came out. We were giving them breast milk exclusively at this point. My mum was a godsend. I don't know how we would have survived without her. She was just amazing helping with the children. Drew was so very grateful for everything that she did and now he thinks that she is the best thing since sliced bread. He still talks about how grateful he is. We had a lot of fun with my mum. This was the most precious time. Mum was supposed to stay for six weeks but we managed to persuade her to stay for three months. I think it was Drew's pleading that did the trick. So my mum "stayed on duty".
