Jacqueline's Visit in February

The long-awaited visit finally arrived. We were all so excited for Jacqueline, Steve and the boys to come. Jacqueline, Steve and Daniel flew in from Ohio. James flew in from Salt Lake City. It was so nice to all be together. We REALLY missed Tommy though. We called him but that was just not enough. He would have had a blast with his cousins. The twins fell in love with Jacqueline within the first half-an-hour. I am sure that they knew that she was special. They just cuddled up with her like they had been doing so since they were born.

Drew grew some facial hair for the event! He is very proud of it. I have other ideas about it!

We spent a lot of the time at the pool. We also went to the Grant Seafood Festival. We ate some yummies and strolled around the craft stalls. A torrent of rain came down and the festival cleared and we crazy Scottish and our American hero stayed and got good and wet.

We had a fun time at the beach. The weather was not the best but the boys went out boogie boarding anyway. Daniel went boogie boarding even though he was sick. What a stallion. If you watch them on the video you will see Daniel attack the water with such ferocity! Sawyer hung out with his Uncle Steve. James got awfully sick and we ended up chasing down a paramedic crew! He was okay but we think he got food poisoning. We are all still trying to figure out the appearance of the phantom bottom (butt) at the beach! It just appeared in one of the videos and nobody is claiming it. Maybe it was the girl Daniel was chatting up!

James and Daniel were the best cousins! They played with the kids all the time. Poor Daniel had them laughing all the time and they just LOVED him but he could not hold them. Daniel had tonsillitis. It was a shame, the poor kid was so sick but still managed to have a good time and participate in everything. He told me before he left that I was not to tell him if the kids got sick. But I am going to tell him that all of his efforts did not go to waste as the kids did NOT get sick. Thanks Daniel. James was his considerate, cute self for the whole visit. I could just steal him!

James and Daniel went to Universal Studios one day while Jacqueline and I had a day in the pool with the babies. It was so nice... to have some sister time! I don't have any pics of us at the pool so here is one of us hanging at the festival.

The visit went by far too fast but we had the best time ever!
